Hi all,

We are going to replace the faulty SFM2s with NEW SFM2s on Catalyst 6509. and actually faulty SFM2s are installed on slot 5 and 6 on Catalyst 6509.

My question is , Is that support OIR for TWO SFM2s at a time ?

no, you cannot do OIR on two SFM2s at the same time.

i would OIR the Primary SFM2 and when completed, fail back from the standby SFM to the new Primary SFM2.

then you can OIR the Standby SFM2.

both cannot be done simultaneously as you would then lose all chassis operation.
