Sfp compatibility

I have purchased sfp 10 g sr

i need to know wether it is multi mode or single mode

and also if it is compatible with linksys lgs318p or not

also what are the switches that are compatible with this sfp?

The datasheet for the 10G-SR SFP states that it can push a signal 26 meters on FDDI-grade multimode fiber, 300 meters on OM3 multimode fiber, or 400 meters on OM4 multimode fiber. As long as the Linksys lgs318p is using the 10G-SR standard, then they should work together. However, a cursory look indicates that the Linksys is only capable of 1G speeds so I doubt they will work together. Cisco publishes an SFP compatibility matrix which you can use to check SFP compatibility.
