HI all,
I've one of my customers who wants to stick to single ISP but wants to
implement the full redundancy (no single point of failure) network
scenario, is there a way to connect to 2 routers internet facing with
in an active/standby fashion to a single ISP with a single IP range?
It will be very helpful to me if any one can give me the configuration command also.
If possible i want the full configuration script for 2 routers, firewall and also the 2 switches 3650 switches redundancies.
Thanks a lot all
I really appreciate your great advice
regards,
Yasib
Hi ,
Yes, You need a switch in between two internal routers and between ISP connection. Connect ISP cable coming to switch and two cables from both the routers to switch and configure a common subnet between three devices.
For achieving Active/Standby setup .configure HSRP in LAN end at both the internal Routers so that always one is active and in case of failure other will take the load.
Hope that Helps..
