At the moment Slot2 redundant supervisor becomes active all the time.
I want to make Slot1 Supervisoer as active all the time, except when there are problems with this slot,
Please advice if any special command is available to make this happen.

Hi,
A switchover between 2 SUPs will occur when one or more of the following events take place:
The active supervisor engine fails or is removed.
A user forces a switchover.
A user reloads the active supervisor engine.
A core dump occurs.
To force a switch over you can also use this command :
redundancy force-switchover

Hi,
It does not matter that sup is in slot 1 or slot 2. What matters is which sup came up first or which is inseretd first. Could be in your case sup in slot 2 is been inserted first or would have come first and is the reason is active. Force the switchover and sup in slot 1 will be active.
Hope it helps.
