Slow connection

Hi

I seem to be haveing a little bit of trouble with my dial in access server.

I am able to dial in vi ISDN to my 2509 at 64K and create a vpn tunnel between two netscreen firewalls but the application I am trying to run go very very slow (vnc MS terminal server) If I log in to the 2509 with a pstn line at 33.6 everything is ok can anyone point me in the right direction!!!!

Hello,

can you do a traceroute and see where the delay occurs ? There also is a utility called PingPlotter, downloadable at www.pingplotter.com which lets you detect which hop is actually causing a delay.

Can you post the configuration of the 2509 ?

Hi thanks for your replay here is some more info

Tracing route to 172.30.0.23 over a maximum of 30 hops

1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 192.168.0.1

2 * 104 ms 103 ms 172.30.0.251

3 112 ms 113 ms 112 ms 172.30.0.23

Trace complete.

Hop 1 is my netscreen 5gt which dials the cisco

hop 2 is my netscreen 208 at the other end of the cisco 2509

hop 3 is server I am trying to access
