Has anyone run into this problem?
I experienced very slow response time from Cisco Works or Real Time when I have to go through the PIX firewall to the servers via the web interfaces. If Im on the same LAN its fast, otherwise it seems to take the menus for ever, in other words its not practical. At on time I had the servers sitting on the DMZ but thought that was a problem and so I just moved them to the outside. No change, I still have the same problem. I think it has something to do with Java, but Im not sure how to correct it.
As far as the current setup for the pix I have a static inside outside set for the client for troubleshooting. Also an access-list set to permit everything to my client.
Anyone have an idea??
Thanks
J

CW2K and RTM uses Java a lot. Does you PIX blocks/filters Java?

Nothing is being blocked from what I can tell. The syslog doesn't show anything either, its all normal build and tear down stuff. Just takes an extremely long time. The only thing I do get is a SYN timeout one one teardown.
