Hello Cisco,

I support a Cisco cat switch with the following codes WS-C6509 Software, Version NmpSW: 6.3(5).

My question,

It seems I cannot add more then one SNMP string to this device, is this true?

And if so,

What If I update the set snmp community read-only string to the customer setting, would they be able to pull data from multiple ip address instead.

Hi Charlie,

You can add multiple SNMP community strings with the following command:

set snmp community-ext read-only

First released in CatOS 7.5 (I hope, not sure).
