I am trying to track the snmp traps received from our switch (WS-C 4006).
I have put the following OIDs in my snmptrapd.conf, but for some reason the traphandle did not respond to them:
traphandle .1.3.6.1.2.1.17.1 traps newroot
traphandle .1.3.6.1.2.1.17.2 traps topologychange
traphandle .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.3 traps moduleup
traphandle .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.4 traps moduledown
traphandle .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.5 traps chassisAlarmOn
traphandle .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.6 traps chassisAlarmOff
What are the correct OIDs of these traps?
Anyone can help?
Thanks.

You can,
1. refer to MIB
2. decode the OID from trap packet as soon as it is sent to you on a given event.
Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I have already got them all correct. And my perl script seems to handle them the way it's supposed to.
Thanks
