soho91 no internet win2000

I have a 6 workstation lan that shares internet through a cable modem. I just installed a soho91 router, replacing an smc barricade.

I have 3 win2k machines and 3 winxppro machines.

All had internet access with smc.

Now winxp has internet, win2k does not.

I have tried firewall/no firewall

nat/ no nat

dynamic ip/static ip

I am not using ipsec

I have changed the router ip from 10.10.10.1 to 192.168.10.1

I have checked for viruses, applied ms patches

released and renewed until I'm Blue-in-the-face.

Still...xp works...w2k doesn't

Try to check how routing happens from xp and the win2k machines using tracert command. It will show you where the packet is getting dropped and will give a clue of what the problem is.
