Stange problem with direction of dialin

Greetings,

I'm expiriencing a strange problem connecting to a cisco 2610.

Setup:

A -|

|- C

B -|

Routers A and B are 3640's with me in the Netherlands, Router C is in the UK. When A or B connects to C with ppp chap, packets can travel to C. However, returnpackets never reach A or B. On C I see a successfull dialer-setup, and with 'debug ip packet' I see the packet being routed to the correct interface. These packets never reach A or B.

The stange thing is: when C dials A or B all is well.

- There are no access-lists on the dialers of C.

- No crypto.

- There is no caller-id when A or B dials C (international call).

- A uses isdn-2, B isdn-30

The config of C (just for A):

interface BRI1/0

no ip address

no ip directed-broadcast

encapsulation ppp

dialer pool-member 21

isdn switch-type basic-net3

no cdp enable

ppp multilink

interface Dialer1

ip address 10.3.0.2 255.255.255.0

no ip directed-broadcast

encapsulation ppp

dialer remote-name A

dialer idle-timeout 600

dialer string 0031xxxxxxx

dialer hold-queue 5 timeout 5

dialer pool 21

dialer-group 1

no cdp enable

ppp authentication chap

ip route 10.1.0.0 255.255.255.0 10.3.0.1

dialer-list 1 protocol ip permit

Could somebody point me in the right direction?

Thanx!

Thomas.

Try some other tools like ping and traceroute or debug ip packets with ping . Can you give more details about your problem with a diagram send as a attachment and other router configuration to understand the problem better.
