Static mac address on catalyst 6500

I've a catalyst 6509 ios version:For some reason I've to put a static mac on 2 uplink port but the ios give me the possibility to put only 1 entry for the same mac.

I've tried to perform the same choice on cat-os switch and there are no problem.

Can anyone help me

Hi,

You should only be able to configure a static MAC entry pointing to multiple ports if it is a multicast MAC address. However, you can configure multiple static unicast MAC address entries as long as each entry is in a different VLAN.

Is this still a limitation? Is there any workaround possible?

I can add a static unicast MAC address entry for two interfaces on a WS-C3750G-24TS-1U (Version 12.2(35)SE5):

--> mac-address-table static 02:00:5e:80:cc:02 vlan 2000 interface GigabitEthernet 13/1 GigabitEthernet 13/3

But on a cisco WS-C6513 (Version 12.2(33)SXI2a) it is not possible.
