STRANGE PROBLEM (urgent)

Dont know if anyone can help, I have an issue where when pc's go onto a secure https website, It kills the dsl link off and we get loads of timeouts on the line, Asanyone any idea what would cause this ?

What kind of DSL link is it?

What configuration do You use ?

Does the problem occur to every ssl website?

1 meg dsl connecting to head office, uses smc barricade router, occurs on 1 or 2 ssl websites ?
