supernetting with static routes and ospf summary commands

Does the OSPF "summary-address" command for external networks support supernetting. For example "sumamry-address 192.100.0.0 255.255.0.0".

Also, can you configure a static route as a supernet? For example "ip route 192.100.0.0 255.255.0.0 10.1.1.1".

In all the Cisco docs, I have only seen BGP associated with supernetting capability.

Thanks

You can indeed configure the summary-address range as a supernet.

You can also configure a supernet as a static route such as the example you provided.

Hope this helps,
