Supervisor V temperature

We have several 4500 switches with Supervisor Engine V. It says in the specification that the operational temperature is between 0 and 40 degrees celcius.

What happens if the temperature rises over these thresholds? Will the supervisor shut itself down? In that case - will I get a warning (SNMP or syslog) before that happens? Will I get errors if the supervisor is slighly above the threshold?

It's hot here :-) I've searched for more info on this, but I find none. Do any of you know this?

Thanks in advance!

HI

I think the switch is going to place the modules in standby mode.

Thanks
