Solved: Switch Load Indicator

Does anyone know how to activate the Switch Load indicator lights on the WS-X6K-SUP2-2GE (Supervisor Engine on the 6509). The display is located between the PCMCIA slot and link port 1.

Chet,

This is on by default and cannot be disabled. More than likely you'll not see much on this meter unless you are pushing a considerable amount of traffic through the Catalyst. "show system" (with CatOS) or "show cat" (with Native IOS) will show you your Peak Backplane Utilization during it's up time. If this number is not over about 8% you'd not even see one bar on your meter.
