Everytime that i need to shutdown or reload my WS-C3750X-24 the time changes to the year 1993. We just purchased this switch a few weeks ago and before that we used to use our previous switch as the NTP server. We set the clock manually on the switch and made it the NTP server. Now when we reload the device the time changes to 1993 and most of my servers go with it. Is there a way to change the hardware clock so it stops thinking it is 1993?

Unfortunately the 3750 does not have an internal hardware clock so every time it reboots it will indeed lose it's time. You need to either -
1) reset the time every time the switch is reloaded which is a pain and not particularly practical
or
2) use NTP on the 3750 and point it to a reliable time server so on boot up it can sync it's time accurately
Perhaps your previous device could be used simply as a time server that the 3750 could sync to ?

In addition to Jon's post (+5), if you have Windows servers, you can configure them to be an authoritative NTP server.

Otherwise, use a dedicated NTP server that synchronizes itself using GPS.
