hello everyone, i have my first WAN project.. I have to implement Point-to-Point t1's to all my branches.. can you tell me all the necessary equipment to do this.. i already have cisco router's with t1 modules.. thanks a bunch.

if u already have your t1 lines, then all that would be needed is your csu/dsu - would be supplied by your ISP.
if you get a smartjack, then you could make use of integrated csu/dsu on the router

You also want to think about your IP addressing on the serial interfaces and the routing protocol you want to run (EIGRP, RIP, OSPF...). If these are just simple point to point T1 links, it should be a fairly easy process.

ok.. got the device situation under control.. now what about router config.. i'll only have to configure layers 1-3 right?..
can anyone help me out on the config on the router?.
i know layer 3 will use ip address/subnet mask..
we do use eigrp as our routing protocol..
layer 2 will i tell it that it's dce or dte?.. or does that apply?..
what about linecoding? framing?.. thanks for any input
