Customer wants a virtual 3MB pipe on two locations, The Tasman 1004 box specified can support and bond up to 4 T1s. Customer has several internal networks that they need to supply IP bandwidth to, and they want to make sure that they are not wasting bandwidth on either circuit.
If we were to supply Cisco 2620XM routers for the 3.0MB Internet circuits, would we also provide a Tasman or something similar to provide virtual 3.0MB pipes? Or, can I just use a channelized DS3 module and bond the DS1's as needed?
From what I read about the Tasman, it looks like a high-avaialability router.
Following is Tasman's blurb on the 1004:
The Tasman Networks 1004 router provides fast, reliable, and scalable T1/E1 access for service providers and enterprises. Ideal for enterprise branch office and service provider point of presence (POP) deployment, this powerful platform comes with either one, two, three, or four T1 or E1 ports enabled. Additional ports can be added using Tasman's software-based Scale-on-Demand feature.
