TFTP Server

Hi Guys,

If I need to configure some changes on my internet router that is directly connected to a PIX firewall, how to I do it through a TFTP server (Win2K workstation)inside a firewall? I tried copy startup-config tftp but it gave me errors that says unknown. Does this mean that I cannot connect to my router because of the firwall in between? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

First of all, can you access your PC from your router by ping. If yes, you should open tftp port in PIX between your routers' serial interface IP address and your PC IP address.

Further, you might have to create a blank file on the

Win2K workstation (in the tftpboot folder)
