Hi JUNKSA:

Sometimes Ios not compatible with your router , usauly because of Dram and at that moment when you want to boot your router from tftp and that ios ,you will recive timeout error.

Send your ios file name and the amount of Dram and flash that you have ,i will check it for you.

please rate it if it rights.

Thanks.

Hi,

I am trying to copy the IOS image wscmm-i6s-mz.123-8.xys via tftp. This image is around 10GB.

try to check.

Thanks

Junksa,

Try using FTP instead. TFTP will have problems with files larger than 32MB.

I personally use the following FTP server

http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/

Try cisco feature navigator

http://www.cisco.com/go/fn

then copy the ios name there and check it.

I checked it by myself and i found its not valid ios are you sure its valid ios ?

Hi Bahman,

Sorry I right the wrong IOS. Actually what I am trying to do is to copy the IOS image from Disk0: to tftp. The IOS image is s72033-adipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-18.SXE3.bin.

In the beginning everything is okay but after a few minutes he will stop and will give you the error writing tftp message.

Can you checked it for me please.

Thanks.
