Hi, there,
I have some confusion on TrBRF's vlan ID and TrCRF's vlan ID. say I want to configure a vlan 10, so the TrCRF's vlan ID must be 10, but how about the TrBRF's vlan ID? what is their relationship?
Btw, any idea for the token ring part of CCIE lab test? how much I must know?
Appreciate very much for you answer.

If you think of the TrBRF as a "vlan ID", you will be confused.
The TrBRF and TrCRF are the values that populate the token ring RIF field.
TrBrf = Token Ring Bridge #. Bridge numbers need to be unique only if multiple bridges span the same 2 rings. Bridge # in the switch can act to seperate traffic, very much like a vlan.
TrCRF = Token Ring Ring #. Each ring must have a unique #. All routers attached to the ring that are need to traverse the bridge must be configured with the correct ring # corrisponding to the ring that is attached.

Then who are the members of the vlan, where does the vlan ID seat in? Thank you.
