Upgrade firmware - Catalyst 1900

Hello,

question: I have about 10 Catalyst 1924C and 1912C (standard edition) - firmware edition 5.35. It's possible tu upgrade firmware to the newest version 9.00.04 ? I tried it, but switch notified (state error). I have looked any information on TAC. But I didn't find them.

Can anyone help me, please.

Hi

The 1900 standard edition switch with your version of IOS cannot be upgraded to 9.00.04, the highest you can go is 5.37 with the standard edition, you would need and enterprise edition switch to upgrade to the 9.00.04 IOS. I hope this has been helpful, have a nice day.
