We just purchased a SupII+ to upgrade our 4006. Currently it runs CatOS 6.3. What's involved in replacing the II with II+. We don't have vlans or anything special. Just a couple of fiber runs to some closet switches on the gbic ports. Also, 1 span port is set up for monitoring Internet traffic.

Please take backup of the configuration before migrating. I hope there is no other specific configuration needed. And see the following links for more information...

Sup II+ runs strictly IOS and is a completely different command set than CATos so I would start planning your config for the conversion .
