Hi!
I have a problem with QDM 2.1(2) on our Cisco 1720 router with IOS =
12.2(5) (image c1700-k9sy-mz.122-5.bin).
This router is in the list of supported routers for QDM 2.1(2).
I have followed the correct procedure to install QDM, including copying
from tftp to flash, setting correct user rights and 16 VTY lines.
When I try to access QDM over http, QDM page and applet is dowloaded but I
are unable to see interfaces on the router. I can setup policies, but
I cannot see them in qdm. I acces the running configuration from QDM
and run CLI to setup QOS. Also, after a while I get a "QDM was unable
to establish connection with xx.xx.xx.xx" (where xx.xx.xx.xx is IP
address of our router). In java console we can monitor qdm applet trying
to connect to our router:
%INFO: Starting QDM application...
%INFO: Connecting to xx.xx.xx.xx
%INFO: Unable to recognize, skipping >>>>> Date: Mon, 01 Mar 1993 =
00:33:49 UTC
%INFO: Connecting to xx.xx.x.xx
%INFO: Unable to recognize, skipping >>>>> Date: Mon, 01 Mar 1993 =
00:33:59 UTC
Also I was sniffing traffic between IE and router, and we found 404 = errors for the following files:
/com/cisco/qdm/adBeanInfo.class
/com/cisco/qdm/QDMAppletBeanInfo.class
I checked, and these files are missing from the qdm.tar and qdm.jar.
My client is IE 6.0 with MS JavaVM (Java and JavaScripts are enabled).
Can you help me or point us to the right direction.
Tnx
Best regards,

Hi,
I remember someone in this forum saying that QDM does not support logical interfaces like PPP multilink and interleaving. You may want to check on that aspect for not seeing your interfaces in the QDM.
Not sure why you are having other issues. Did anyone face this kinda problems. Would appreciate if you can help.

Problem is that i can not see any interface in my router.I do the same thing in Cisco 3640 and it is working great.
Definitely Cisco 1720 with this IOS does not support Ciscos QDM 2.1(2).
