Hello!
I have a 6509 series with (2) of the SUP1A with MSFC2 router modules and I am installing the X6148-GE-TX gigabit blade but the IOS is showing that the gig module is not there. Does anyone know what level of IOS and MSFC2 code needs to be loaded for the SUP1A engines to see this blade?
Thanks!

Hi ,
You need to have minimum 7.6(1) CATOS on your supervisor and MSFC version is not concerned to support any line card if you are running hybrid mode (I mean catos on sup and ios on msfc) but make sure your DRAM supports 7.6(1) code or you may need to upgrade your DRAM also.
Here you go with the link

Now if you are running Native IOS
You need to hve 12.1(19)E1 minimum to support your line card
