could someone please tell me where I could get updated Visio icons for Cisco products including the 3550 and 4500 series switches ?

These links only have generic icons or to those which have not been updated since 2001. Could anyone point me in the direction of a location where I can find newer visio stencils that show the later cisco products such as the 4500 and 3550 series switches including the line cards and supervisor engines.

Contact one of your Cisco offices and see if they'll send them to you. Not sure if they have the latest ones as it's been awhile since I've asked. Otherwise...

They have those stencils, although you need to purchase a subscription to get them. Haven't found a source for the newer stencils yet. This place will create stencils for any product you have for free once you have the subscription.
