hi, I have three vlan3 (128.23.9.0/24 , 128.23.11.0/24 ,128.23.8.0/24), it is a cisco catalyst 4503, software is cat4000-I5K2S-M. When the computer has the ip address 128.23.9.12 255.255.255.0, gateway is 128.23.9.1 , it is ok . But when only the computer gateway changes to 128.23.11.1, why it is ok yet, that means it can ping the computers belong to others vlan. I do not understand why the gateway is not of vlan, but it is ok ?
