I want to know,when configing VLAN,is there the notion of tag or untag mode on the VLAN port?

Hi,

I'm not sure if I understand the question corectly, but generally:

Accesss ports - frames are never tagged.

ISL trunks - all frames are tagged.

802.1q trunks - frames are tagged except the native VLAN (there is a possibility to tag also native VLAN in the latest CatOS).
