I have a 2610XM router with (1) 10/100. I will have (2) VLANS. Is there a way to configure both of the VLANS on the router so they can both take advantage of my DHCP server located at another site? (If I use a secondary IP address that network can't use DHCP.)

If your switch supports trunking, you can use 802.1q trunking on the Ethernet interface on the router. You create a subinterface for each VLAN, and those can each have helper addresses pointing to your DHCP server. In this way, you can have both VLANs use DHCP. Thanks for the response. Ends up that I do not have the right IOS on the router to get your suggeston to work. Such is life.
