VLANS with (1) 10/100 and DHCP

I have a 2610XM router with (1) 10/100. I will have (2) VLANS. Is there a way to configure both of the VLANS on the router so they can both take advantage of my DHCP server located at another site? (If I use a secondary IP address that network can't use DHCP.)

If your switch supports trunking, you can use 802.1q trunking on the Ethernet interface on the router. You create a subinterface for each VLAN, and those can each have helper addresses pointing to your DHCP server. In this way, you can have both VLANs use DHCP. Here is a URL with some configuration examples:

Thanks for the response. Ends up that I do not have the right IOS on the router to get your suggeston to work. Such is life.

Thanks for the help!
