What happen " output buffer failures " at 3500 " switch interface ?

Hi,

I have one 3500 switch , It post much "output buffer failures " at " show interface ".

But only one switch have this problem. They use same IOS . I also replace a new one . It is in vain.

I know it seems cable or environment problem..

My question is how to prove for my customer.

output buffer failure probably means the switch is running out of buffers handlings the high amount of traffic incoming on that port. What is connected to that port ? make sure speed/duplex match on both sides.
