We are getting ready to set up some remote sites in the People's Republic of China. The circuits will be Frame Relay, but we always configure BRI circuits for dial backup in case of circuit failure. We already have many sites throughout Asia and Hong Kong. In general, the BRI ISDN switch-type in Asia is Basic-Net3 like Europe, but in Hong Kong it is NI1 like the States.
Does anyone know what ISDN switch-type is used in China?
Thanks in advance
Gary

I think that all dpends on the Carier of your remote sites. You have to check with them.

You need to talk to the people/company who have provided the isdn line to know the switch-type for that line..
