What's the difference among these voice command?

Hi all,

I refered to the manual and I am confused about several voice commands:

1. num-exp (in config mode)

2. prefix (in dial-peer mode)

3. tech-prefix (in dial-peer mode)

It seems that the commands all change the dialed number to another number before the dialed number is sent to the dial peer.

Does any body know it? Thanks.

Best Regards

Teru Lei

num-exp (global config mode)- expands an extension number into a particular destination pattern

prefix (dial-peer mode)- this command applies only to POTS dial peers. Use the prefix command to specify a prefix for a specific dial peer. When an outgoing call is initiated to this dial peer, the prefix string value is first sent to the telephony interface, before the telephone number is associated with the dial peer.
