Which router(s) fulfill these requirements?

Hello,

i need routers with specific requirements, but its very hard to look at all routers at the Cisco.com homepage to find aout what are the cheapest to fulfill these requirements. Who can give me a tip how i can easily find out what i am searching for?

But perhaps somebody knows all routers and can tell me what routers i should take:

I nedd:

One router which has

3 Gigabit-Fibre-Ports (multimode 50/125)

redundant Powersupply (AC)

and should be extensible for/with:

redundant Routing/Forwarding

16 Port fast ethernet Fibre

2 Port Gigabit Fibre

1 Port OC12 (SDH and ATM available)

One router with:

3 Gigabit-Fibre-Ports (multimode 50/125)

redundant Powersupply (AC)

and should be extensible for/with:

8 Port Fast Ethernet Fibre

1 Port OC12 (SDH and ATM available)

one router with:

3 Gigabit-Fibre-Ports (multimode 50/125)

8 Port Fast Ethernet Fibre

redundant power supply

and should be extensible for/with:

1 Port OC12 (SDH and ATM available)

and additional i need:

OC12 Packet over SDH/SONET, multimode

OC12 ATM, multimode

Gigabit-Fibre, singlemode

Your base router will be a 7206VXR. with 6 slots.

For req 1:

An NPE of atleast NPE-300 with redundant power supplies.

3 - PA-GE -- 1 port Gigabit adapter.

16 port FE Fibre - There is no single module that can fit this requirement. There is a module called PA-12E/2FE. THis product is end of life now, but it has 12 10BaseT ports and 2 Fast Ethernet ports. The only fiber fastE port adapter available is a 2 port PA-2FE-FX.

1 port OC12 - PA-A3-OC12.

Note that you wont have any more slots available for expansion. It might be a good idea to switch to a 7500 series router (7505, 7509, 7513 available)

For req 2:

7206 with NPE-300 (min), PA-GE -3 nos, RPS,

1 - PA-A3-OC12, PA-8E (8 port 10-BaseT over copper, only 2 port fiber module available)

For req 3:

7206 with NPE-300 (min), PA-GE-3 nos, RPS,

PA-8E (8 port 10BaseT over copper, fiber module available only with 2 ports), PA-A3-OC12
