I had trouble for all cat4006 CPU utilization was 99%!!!!
among of them
Cat4k Mgmt LoPri 70.44%
Spanning Tree 28.94%
MY operatetion :
I sent reset 1 on 6513A all is OK
but I sent reset 1 on 6513B
then the message is report the G3/1 and G3/2 all disconnet the Port-State 3/1-2 was not-connect!!!???
so I add a command set errdisable-timeout enable channel-misconfig on two 6513 ,late 30s the GEC Port-State is OK.
but now all the 4006 CPU utilization was 99%!!!!!!
final i remove backbone fast in all cat4006 .
all 4006 CPU utilization was 99% is fall to 5%.
then I add backbone fast cat4006 CPU utilization was 5% also,
but I try change the GEC port channel (set port channel 3/1-2 on change set port channel 3/1-2 desire)
right now the 4006 CPU utilization was up to 99%
my conclusion is when the GEC is change the cpu utilization is up to 99%
so I hvae two question !!!
fist : why I reset 6513A modu 1,then reset 6513B modu 1 ,the GEC change not-connect
two : cisco suggest all switch configure backbne fast,why now it is trouble.
