why can not i format the flash card in standby GRP?

In a GSR12012, i tried to format the flash card in SEC-GRP, but can not be successful, the log was as follows:

format sec-slot1:

Format operation may take a while. Continue? [confirm]

Format operation will destroy all data in "sec-slot1:". Continue? [confirm]

%Error formatting sec-slot1: (Invalid device ID)

But when i inserted it into the PRI-GRP's slot1, the operation can be done. How did this happen?

Might be CSCdw60243 depending on the code you are running.

There is a workaround: use delete/squeeze commands instead of format
