Why large packet can not pass?

two pc are in the same vlan and both directly connect to 2950,when ping form one to another

ping 192.168.0.1 -t -l [arg]

when [arg]>1500 ,ping packet lost. But two pc connect to a HUB,ping packet is ok.

who can tell me why? Any command can solve the problem?

Look the mtu size.It might have a relationship with your problem.

Examine the 2950 port config and insure that the ports are configured as access ports, not trunk ports. Insure that auto-neogotiation is turned off on both the workstations and the switch ports - you should manually configure the speed and duplex settings.
