I have three differet WIC's (1 dsu T1 V2) to be installed on a 2651XM.
I tried to install one at the time (in two different routers) and they never appear.
None of them is shown in the configuration.
the result for show interface shows only the two Fa interfaces.
IOS = Version 12.3(4)T3
Any idea? Is there any configuration that need to be done?

In your boot sequence, I was intersted in looking at the SYslog messages that appear immediately after the output that you have posted. It usually indicates if the card cannot be detected "Undefined port adapter" or something similar.. It is possible that the card was DOA, your best bet is to call the ebay seller and ask for a replacement.
I would also try the following. Check if you have properly seated them in the WIC slot. If you have any spare working WICs, check to see if the router's slot is good.
Try giving this command, "memory-size iomem 10" and see if that helps in any way. All it does is allocates a percentage of memory to the interfaces/network modules.

Can you type a show version and paste the output here ? They are definitely supported on your platform.

Also can you log the boot sequence of the router with the module inserted ..

I send it as soon as I have access to the router. Tomorrow morning.
Thanks,

This may be a silly question, but I shall ask it anyway: did you switch off the router before you installed the WICs? 'Cos unlike some systems, they are not hot-swap, and can actually be damaged by trying to hot-swap them.

It is not a silly question. But I did install them with no power in the router(s). You kind answered my question, I was affraid that the cards came damaged. They were bought on-line (eBay or similar)and you never know.
THanks for your reply,
Volnei

Press RETURN to get started!
That is the rest of the message.
I have one WIC card to test (which is not V2) but it is production now. I will be able to test only tomorrow.
I have two routers and 3 WICs I tested all combinations and none of them worked.
I really think the Cards are damaged. I will contact the seller.

I updated the IOS from 12.2(15)ZJ3 to 12.3(4)T3. It is working now.
