Windows Network Neighborhood

I'm a bit new to inter-vlan routing. I'm inter-vlan routing on a 6509/msfc2. Until now, all our servers were on same vlan as dns/wins servers. I created a new subnet/vlan and placed a Win2k server in this new vlan. I've no problem connecting to resources in other domains, but the other domains/resources to not display in network neighborhood. If I move server to same vlan as dns/wins servers, the domains/resourses do display. Also, when server is in new vlan, nslookup lists all resources in domain/other domains.

Anyone help me on this.

Hello,

you might want to try and add the following two commands to the configuration of your VLAN interfaces, this will enable the forwarding of NetBIOS broadcasts:

ip forward-protocol udp 137

ip forward-protocol udp 138
