Is there are way to write some type of script to make multiple changes on several switches? I use telnet to get into the switches. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Laurie Coles

Hello There,
Ive seen some multiple changes done with the help of an Access Server.
You'd send a message to * (all) with the lines:
access-server#send *
configure terminal
...
...
...
and that would configure all devices connected to the Access server (if they were in the enable mode already).
Also, Ive seen some tclsh used to do remote shell connections, but Im not sure if this would help you.
Anyway, there're my 50 cents on the subject.

The switches are not in enable mode and my devices are all connected to a 6009 via fiber. I don't think will work. I wish I could use some type of batch program. I'll check out the tclsh. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Laurie
