Hi all,

Lately I had an RSP2 module on my 7505 router replaced because of failure. My functionality problems were solved, but I get an error message every time I reload/power cycle the router.

%RSP-3-ERROR: dbus read at 3E841002

-Traceback= 6022A528 6022CA90 6022D050 60230330 601D45A4 601D4658 60148908

-Traceback= 601FDBD8 601FF6FC 601BC29C 601D9610

00:02:09: %SYS-3-LOGGER_FLUSHING: System pausing to ensure console debugging out

put.

%SYS-6-BOOT_MESSAGES: Messages above this line are from the boot loader.

Can somebody explain to me what this is?

the router seems to be fully funcional but should I worry about that?

Thanks in advance

What IOS version are you running?

Take a look at the following bug

http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/bugtool/onebug.pl?bugid=CSCdt00655

Hi Prashanth

I looked at the bug and it was very familiar :)

The IOS I use is rsp-jsv-mz.123-10.bin. I changed before replacing my previous RSP module just in case of a bug.

The bug mensioned about upgrading also the boot image to a version including the fix.

My bootflash image is rsp-boot-mz.120-8.S

I think here I have a problem with the size. My bootflash size is 7602176. A latest image (12.3.10) would require a min Flash of 32MB

Is bootflash upgradable???

Thank you for your help

OK. I found out where bootflash SIMM locates on the board. All I need is a larger-sized one and I'll try a newer version image.

Would you suggest anyone??

12.0(16), 12.2(0.10), 12.1(6.6), 12.2(0.10)T, 12.0(16.1), 12.1(7.1), 12.1(6.6)AA, 12.0(15.6)S01, 12.0(16.3)S, 12.0(16.3)ST, 12.2(0.18)S, 12.1(7.5)E, 12.0(17.6)W05(21.16), 12.1(08a)E, 12.1(7.5)EC, 12.2(2)B, 12.2(15)ZN, 12.0(27)SV

Try the latest boot image as well(rsp-boot-mz.123-10.bin)
