Has anyone noticed that there is a bogus website http://serialnumbervalidation.com/64253/cgi-bin/index.cgi that claims to check for the Clock Signal Compenant failure but returns inconsistent results? It returns "not affected" no matter what you type into it. You can put your phone number in and it will return "not affected".
If you use the official Cisco website to check for affected products https://snvui.cisco.com/snv/FN64253 it returns different results from the bogus site. The official field notice from Cisco (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/field-notices/642/fn64253.html) links only to the Cisco hosted checking tool.
The bogus website is covered in Cisco logos but as you can see from the WHOIS results, it is not owned or operated by Cisco:

Just a heads up to everyone out there.

- No, I never heard about it, but now that you mentioned it , following Google's powers let's hope it does not become a honeypot and can confuse Cisco customers (e.g.).

I had a seller on eBay today try and convince me a used 4331 is not affected by the clock issue because he checked it using this fake website. When I explained it was a fake site and that the real Cisco website lists the product as affected he got very upset.
I didn't see anything about it on the community so i thought i would warn others.
