Hi!
Does anybody know what "Max Port-channels = 16" mean in the following output?
Group: 2
----------
Group state = L2
Ports: 2 Maxports = 8
Port-channels: 1 Max Port-channels = 1
Protocol: PAgP
Group: 5
----------
Group state = L2
Ports: 2 Maxports = 16
Port-channels: 1 Max Port-channels = 16
Protocol: LACP
Why does PAgP shows "Max Port-channels = 1" whilst LACP shows "Max Port-channels = 16"?

The Max Port Channels are the maximum number of channels allowed by the hardware. For example the below guidelines are for configuring etherchannel :
* Configure a PAgP EtherChannel with up to eight Ethernet interfaces of the same type.
* Configure a LACP EtherChannel with up to 16 Ethernet interfaces of the same type. Up to eight ports can be active, and up to eight ports can be in standby mode.
