I am implementing a Transit ISP. I have NetFlow that is to be configured. I am aware that billing is done by this application. But how do I manage the bandwidth used by my clients..like different sizes of leased lne..so that I can bill them appropriately. What is the normal mechanism for this.
Thanks in advance.

Cisco partnered with several vendors who will be producing billing applications using NetFlow data collected from routers. You can go to this URL for more data on netflow switching:

And some of the partners we have producing billing applications for netflow are:
Solect - http://www.solect.com/
Portal - http://www.portal.com/
Apogee - http://www.apogeenet.com/index2.html
Bell Systems - http://www.belle.dk/prodframeoct98.html

Noble,
We have ethernet to customers, physically terminating on a switch port.
However, the ip circuit terminates on a 'wholesale' router. On the ip interface, you can run some sort of policing/service policy to rate limit bandwidth in & out to the customer.
Is that what you are talking about?
