Hi,
when I insert a GBIC in a 16-port Gigabit module I get the following messages:2003 Nov 15 05:55:50 PST -08:00 %SYS-3-PORT_GBICNOTSUPP:Port 2/11 gbic not supported
2003 Nov 15 05:55:50 PST -08:00 %SYS-3-PORT_GBICBADEEPROM:Port 2/11 bad gbic eeprom checksum
2003 Nov 15 05:55:57 PST -08:00 %SYS-3-P2_ERROR: 1/Port 2/11 : Gbic's seeprom is bad, try reinserting
But the port is functioning correctly.
What shall I do? In a other switch the GBIC seems to be okay.
Regards
Peter
