Greetings,
The DNS in my LAN assignes different names, from other countries, to my local switches.
When I monitor my network & try to get DNS option to run, I receive these strange names as the names of my switches.
I'm hoping to find a solution to this problem.
Thanks in advanced.

That may be indicating that your local (on-LAN) DNS is not working, or cannot be reached from the switch (that's getting the wrong addresses).
Your local DNS must be the first entry in the list of DNS servers available.
If there are firewalls between the switches/devices make sure they can pass UDP port 53.
Probably the easiest way to really track it down would be to use a packet capture analyzer and see what dialog (request/response) is occurring. Catch a trace of the dialog and post it (clean up any sensitive addresses first).
It also might be worth checking things like IP domain assignments and network masks.
Good Luck

Thanks ScottMac for your respond.
Unfortuantly, we are still in the process of buying a packet capturing sotftware.
thank you for your help

You can download Ethereal for free (www.ethereal.com). It's pretty decent software, especially for free.
Good Luck
