Password resetting steps for Cisco 2610 Router

I have forgotten the enable password on my 2610. I have printed the proceedure from the following link:

that describes the steps to follow to reset the password. My question is this;

Will the steps described rest everything? I am only looking to reset the password, and not the configuration of the router.

Hi

It is importent that you follow the steps and if you do this there will be

no loss of the configuration.

Especially point 10 is importent that you make a "copy startup-config running-config"
