Simple batch job: repetitive ping every 5 minutes

does anyone know how to specifiy a PC or router to ping an IP every 5 minutes or 5 hours?

You can do some batch file programming, but you might also want to check this tool.

IOS 12.3.1 has a new kron job feature that lets you schedule commands to be ran. Maybe this will help you out.
