Hi,
As of now there are two ports that are available on Sup32 supervisors. The utilization of these ports is described as follows.
Two USB ports
–Host port (Type B port) interfaces with a standard host such as a PC
–Device port (Type A port) interfaces with devices such as USB disks or USB keys
As of now the ports are not enabled on Sup32. These ports will be enabled in a future software release. Please see the following link for the documentation on the same.

In cases if you have any specific router in question, please do update.
Hope this is the information you were looking for. :)

Hey Neo,
I looked up some more details for you on the 3800 router and found that USB port of the router won't be supported at this moment since those USB ports on the router are for future enhancements and according to the following link: "This router has two built-in USB 1.1 ports to support USB devices qualified and approved by Cisco. No approved USB devices are currently available, but enhancements are planned to provide additional flexibility and functionality"
Support Links:
Hence as of now the USB port is unavailable for usage on this router.
Hope these were the details that you were looking for. :)
Regards,
Param
