using L2TRACE

I would like to perform an l2trace from one switch vlan 2 across several switches (msfc installed), different VTP management domains to a workstation in vlan12. I get the message vlan must be specified.

Has anyone tried this command l2trace? I feel I may be using the command incorrectly as I am crossing several routers BUT not sure - I am looking for conformation!!! . . . and help!!
