What is the function of the command logging queue-limit?

Hi All

I have this below mentioned command configured on my 3640 router. Could you please let me know the explanation of this command? I am unable to find the explanation on cisco.com.

logging queue-limit 100.

Additional information: My network has the following implementations - VoIP, IPSec based VPN, EIGRP, Cisco Works.

I think this command is used for Syslog messages to be queued to a syslog server.
